CARL PEVERALL

Carl Peverall is a versatile artist, working with painting and sculpture for the past thirty years. He studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and  Penland School of Crafts.

Linda Larsen writes that "The eternal struggle between the darkness and the light, the physical and the spiritual, the mundane and the celestial reflected in Peverall's work, mirrors our own struggle with order and chaos. Peverall insists that we stretch ourselves to find relationships between disparate objects of the material world."

Peverall's work is in such collections as the Mint Museum of Craft and Design, Old Salem Foundation, Bank of America, and Jefferson Pilot.
